Boomerang, the innovative messaging technology company, has been awarded a patent for its technology in China.
This adds to the growing number of patents the company has been awarded which include the UK, Nigeria, South Africa, Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The addition of the patent for China will further safeguard Boomerang’s Intellectual Property by securing the exclusive right to its technology and its purpose in one of the world’s largest economies. Furthermore, it will empower its channel partners looking to sell their services in China.
Boomerang’s newly patented technology will enable customers in China and other regions to integrate any mobile device into its business processes and workflow. This includes Boomerang’s latest product, boomAlert, which has been designed to manage and improve communications of critical incidents by automating, escalating and tracking all of the required communications essential to the success of each and every incident.
By integrating multiple communication channels (email, SMS and voice) into the incident management workflow, boomAlert ensures that all relevant stakeholders can access and acknowledge critical incident data. The software also allows organisations to ‘manage each incident by exception’, providing significantly improved efficiencies and cost savings as critical resources can be directed to where they are most needed ensuring incidents are more rapidly identified, escalated and resolved.
Peter Tanner, Founder and CEO of Boomerang said: “We’re delighted to have been awarded the patent for our technology in China, particularly as it’s one of the fastest growing economies in the world. This is testament to the rapid growth we’ve achieved to date, and is an important next step in the international growth of our business.”
